You don't want grease go find a health food store
I love Tammy food, from the fried green tomatoes to the pork chops or the yummy Mac salad. It's comfort food, not health not stuff...what I love about it!!!!
Great home cooked food . And the waitress(Jessica) was on point and fast. Definitely recommend. They have a great variety
Nice quaint place for breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Food mediocre....the waitress was loud and ignored kitchen telling her when her orders were up. Too busy talking to the regulars. I will ex plain further as the owner did not understand. Her waitress was not doing her job...the kitchen was actually yelling at her and our food was cold. I love places with staff that have a good demeanor with everyone, but this was not the case. I am sorry I upset the owner with a truthful review. If you want a review please dont be upset when someone had a bad experience.
Good place to eat nice owner
Small breakfast/lunch only place. The food was quite good and fresh. It was our first visit but I think we will return.
Good food and not overpriced
Yall wanna eat something that came out of this mess???btw the big blue bag of flour is open
Great food and service
Friendly home style vibe. Good bacon and sausage breakfast sandwiches.
Good food 👍 good serviceGood prices
Love thos place one of my favorite places to eat!!!
Food was bad to worse. How is it possible? Long white hair in my scrambled eggs. Biscuit cold like it was just defrosted. Owner not friendly or caring about what she puts out. Never will eat here again. Seems to cater to locals who like cheap cheap food. Cheap is what you get but I've eaten at very reasonable prices with better food and ambience. Very disappointed. What a waste of a perfect location for a fantastic eatery and other opportunities. Avoid. I would give zero if I could. :((((
Food was good, price was good, easy to get off n on the highway. People were great.Down home, not fancy, we'll be back. 😀👍
First time wife and I went there was absolutely delicious. Tried two more times after that so so haven't been back
My husband and I just happened upon this gem of an eatery, so glad that we did. The food is really homemade, from prepping to cooking. Tammy roasts her own chicken for chicken salad, cuts the onions and uses her own homemade batter for some of the best onion rings we’ve had in years, she, shreds the cabbage and makes the dressing for coleslaw; nothing is processed or comes from a food service store. This is what real clean eating is, not the corporate fast food “P Bread.” The restaurant is quaint, clean, and just basic. The area is sodas, but rather fresh brewed sweet and unsweetened tea, water and coffee. The prices are very reasonable and the service excellent!
Nice people at Tammy's Comfort Foods. Eggs done as we asked for bacon done really crispy and it was fantastic. Bread was good as was coffee but the hash brown potatoes were done on the outside but tasteless and not done on the inside. The waitress was nice and friendly.
Very Comforting, Great Food and Everyone Is Friendly
Great breakfast! Their sausage gravy was very flavorful- the best sausage gravy I’ve had in a very long time. The eggs were fresh and bacon was lean and delicious! I would definitely go there again!
Good food and great friendly atmosphere.
Everything you expect in a small, local, breakfast spot. Good food at great prices. Nothing fancy just those simple classics.
Always good service and food!
I tell you what, This place has so much character; it's an old diner style restaurant. They have one server, One cook... The server is so darn funny. She's a hard working young lady that has certainly been through some things in her life but she will tell you all about it. This place was just what I needed. I will be back, I will tell others to go eat there and keep up the fantastic job. Thank you for being real and direct. You do a fantastic job!
Food was edible but not great, service was actually top notch but the bathroom.. let me tell you, if I would have went there first I wouldnt have eaten. It wasn't like any bathroom I've ever seen. It was worse than an out house that needed to be put over a new home. It smelled just like that. Like an open sewer. Dead cockroaches, poop smeared on the wall. Just foul.
It probably would have been 4 stars because it’s a basic breakfast place but the waitress was horrible. Literally only had us to wait on. Screwed up the order, dropped the toast, brought the wrong drink. Bad experience.
Chopped steak, mashed potates and beef stew gravy wete great.
Good Breakfast And Lunch.
A great place for southern cooking, I always get their breakfast burrito, is the best ever, my children ordered their pancakes with bacon and egg and my husband ordered french toast with bacon and eggs. We love this place.
Excellent home style, home prepared food. Prices are lower than the area would suggest. Food quality and taste is surprisingly great.
Today I went for breakfast hoping to have a good time. I witnessed a slammed waiting service. So I was understanding about our surver being busy. But what I did not expect was the owner coming out of the kitchen and screaming at a table. The table was there before my friend and I go there. I didn’t see that family making any scenes before. I was in shock that the owner came out and was yelling at them. I won’t be going back because I don’t want to have that kind of service happening to me.
Amazing food, great prices, good people. A must go, sit down and eat you'll love it!!
I’ll be honest it was just OK I expected more there’s a lot of these little spots around town the key to that is thinking that you made it home flavor wise...I think I’ll just stick with Mary’s on the bayfront or if I am feeling spunky I’ll go the the blue hen
Great food. Great service.
Great southern cooking and good service.
Had breakfast there this morning and very much enjoyed my biscuits and gravy. The server was a little forgetful or you could tell it wasn't her best day. Still great food.
Had a philly cheese . Was excellent. Great onion rings not the frozen kind. Will be back.n
Tried Tammy's for the first time a couple weeks ago for the first time. My kid had a Reuben, which he said was excellent. I had over-medium eggs which were done correctly, and home fries which were killer. Just a small funky local joint with good food and service. Loved it. We'll definitely be back soon!
Great home cooking
Good food better portions fantastic price
Basic diner fare with friendly service. I've only had breakfast so far. Bacon was excellent was the coffee was really nice. Parking is kinda wonky...Just have to park where you fit. Not a lot of defined parking spaces. I enjoyed it and plan to go back.
Overall my experience at Tammy's was horrible! To start, they didn't even deliver my full order as the server inattentive. Not to mention the food which was terrible tasted as if it had been microwaved right before it was served to us and the things which weren't microwaved such as the french toast tasted either like cheese or some other substance which shouldn't be in that type of breakfast food.
The best mixed berry French toast I've ever eaten
The food was delicious. Low key atmosphere w friendly service. Not expensive! There picture is of the view from our table
Just the sort of place you look for if your traveling around the country. Local, affordable, the food was good. Go there and eat will ya'! (BTW I'm local).
Great place to eat breakfast or lunch two thumbs
Small and homey. Very cute. Great corned beef sandwiches
Never have I seen plush rolling chairs like these...the are fine indeed. The food was good, but the service was splendid. Just tasty diner food and very decent sausage gravy.
Tami's food or Tammy's Comfort Food it's awesome I mean it's just down home country cooking that has a lot of love in it if you ever want to have a good meal and enjoy the country ambiance then Tammy comfort food is the price to go to get some of the best food that is naturally cooked and prepared very fresh and very consistent the hospitality and the professionalism used is what you would find in your mama or your Grandma's Kitchen it don't get no better than that I hope this is helpful for all of you out there so if you're interested in St Augustine Florida the nation's oldest city pay a visit to Tammy's Comfort Food and note this that they're only open til 1400 that means that close at 2 p.m. but they're open at 0 600 a.m. It could be 7 a.m. But the breakfast is fresh and the food is awesome congratulations Tammy I'm putting you on Facebook,,,,,, yiC 😇
My wife had the veggie plate. Its not on the menu-just ask for it. The Patty Melt was great. It reminds you of old Florida days gone bye. The farm stand next door is pretty good to visit on the way out.
No frills. Good food. Good service and it was very busy when we arrived. Nikki, our waitress was efficient and professional. Reasonable prices. Enjoyed my hash and eggs.
Nice people. Good food.! They allowed our service dog when the Metro with an outdoor patio would not!
